In August 2004, IMD was commissioned by the Poole Health Community to undertake an independent external review of a series of specific and general performance and management issues.
The work carried out by IMD was to a high standard and their conclusions were based on a sound clear analysis of the challenges faced by the Poole Health Community. The recommendations for action are now forming the basis for clear action plans for each of the NHS organisations that serve the Health Community.
I would have no hesitation in recommending IMD to other NHS and private sector organisations or in working with them to assist in addressing other Dorset and Somerset Health Community problems in the future.
